Starting July 1, 2025, Armenia will offer visa-free entry to UAE residents, marking a major change in the country’s travel policy. As confirmed by Khaleej Times, this update will allow more residents from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to explore Armenia without the need for a visa.
Previously, only UAE nationals were allowed to travel visa-free to Armenia, while UAE residents were eligible for a visa on arrival. With the new policy in effect, residents of the UAE and other GCC countries can now enjoy visa-free travel for tourism, business, or leisure purposes.
Eligibility: All passport holders with a valid residency visa from the UAE or any GCC country. Residency Requirement: Residency visa must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Armenia. Stay Duration: Up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Purpose of Visit: Tourism, business, or leisure


The Armenian Tourism Committee stated that this move aims to expand access for the large expatriate communities living in the Gulf, making Armenia a more attractive destination for regional travelers.
